Empowering the Lives of
Children with Cancer

There are many ways you can get involved to make a difference in the life of a sick child.

Ways to Help:
  • A donation is the easiest way to help us make a difference, and research for a cure. We cannot take on-line donations at this time. Please send donations in cash, check or money orders to:

  • Buy articles of jewelry that we have made specifically for Fight 2 Live.
  • We can take orders and make anything you want!!!
  • All articles of jewelry range from $5 to $30.
  • 100% of proceeds from jewelry go to childhood cancer research

Knit scarves and hats:

  • When children lose their hair from chemotherapy, surgery, or radiation, it can cause the body to lose heat rapidly, especially during the cold winter seasons. Hats are great to keep these kids warm, and to prevent them from standing out sometimes as the "typical cancer patient."
  • Angela Chau , senior at Brigham Young University, has knit and donated hundreds of hats for young adults, children, and even infants. Thank you, Angela.

Gift Bags:

  • Gift bags are given to child patients and their families during their time in the hospital while they are recovering from a stem-cell or bone marrow transplant, often requiring a minimum of 100 days in or near a hospital and sanitary environment.
  • Gift bags give kids joy, hope and encouragement. Gift bags are given during Thanksgiving and on Valentine's Day, and occasionally during off-holidays just for the cause.
  • If you are making a gift bag for an anonymous child with a specific sex/age, we can make sure that bag gets to a very special patient.
  • Please, the children and families are very gracious for your kindness, but DO NOT include food. Many children have special dietary needs with their condition or medications they are taking.

Wish List:

  • Hand-written "get well" letters to patients
  • Gift Cards for food (Costco, Wild Oats, Whole Foods, Safeway)
  • Gas Cards for parents to drive their children to and from treatments at hospitals
  • Children's toys ( new, not used; they must be cleanable, so NO stuffed animals)
  • Cartoon/Disney DVD's and Baby Einstein tools
